HEAD, INTERNAL CONTROL
A reputable Insurance Company with Head Office in Lagos seeks the employment of qualified candidate to fill the following vacant position.
• First degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Economics
• A Postgraduate degree (MSc or MBA) is an added advantage
• Relevant professional qualifications e.g. ICAN, ACCA etc.
• The individual should have up to 10 years’ work experience with at least 8 in financial services and 5 years in Internal Audit practice, 4 of which must have been in a managerial capacity with the knowledge of Insurance Industry.
• Experience in external or internal audit compliance
• Knowledge of internal audit methodology approach, techniques and management practices
• Professional ethics: Promotes and applies professional ethics - Applies ethical principles and values to the activities being audited, adheres to the organization’s key policies, practices and procedures, assesses and fosters the ethical climate of the board and management, etc.
• Governance, risk and control: Applies a thorough understanding of governance, risk and control appropriate to the organization.
• Persuasion and collaboration: Persuades and motivates others through collaboration and cooperation
• Critical thinking: Applies process analysis, business intelligence and problem solving techniques
• Computer Literate
• Strong Oral & Written Communication ability
